Solar PV Installers Attend Solar Power UK Conference

Today is the opening day of the Solar Power UK 2011 conference, hosted at the ICC exhibition centre in Birmingham. Solar PV installers from across the country will be checking into the conference to attend training sessions, educational seminars and exhibitions, all aimed at showcasing what’s new in the solar PV installers business!

It has been an exciting year for solar PV installers, the government’s feed-in tariff scheme has boosted both dividends from, and interest in, solar power. This has led to great leaps and bounds in popularity of solar power in the UK. All the exciting shake-ups in the world of solar PV installers are bound to make this year’s Solar Power UK conference the most exciting and inspiring to date!

If last year’s conference is anything to go by, this year is going to be a knock out success. In 2010 tickets for the event sold out well before the opening day and many solar PV installers were unable to attend due to unprecedented interest in the exhibition and conference.

Topics up for discussion at this year’s conference will include the alterations in government policy, the current state of the solar industry’s supply chain and the rise and rise of solar power in the UK. Most importantly, solar PV installers will be wanting to know: ‘What’s next for the solar industry in the UK?’

This year, thanks to popular demand from solar PV installers and other areas of the industry, the conference has been expanded and will be bigger and better than ever. 120 exhibitors will be presenting their solar services and products at the conference and hoping to attract attention from the solar PV installers in attendance. The UK is Europe’s fastest growing solar market and companies from across the continent are set to exhibit.
